st. john’s wort herbal oil

st. john's wort infused oil is one of the most magical medicines to prepare. it has bright yellow flowers with sparkly starburst details. there are tiny pinpricks of ink inside the leaves which stain your fingers black as you harvest. and then the powerful medicine inside these brilliant yellow blossoms and inky dark leaves is deep blood red. it just FEELS alive. and it smells amazing. as the sunshine yellow flowers sit in the greenish gold oil they slowly transform the oil to crimson red, a iridescent red that actually seems to glow. the plant blossoms and is traditionally harvested at the summer solstice, adding to its potency and power.
