this infused herbal oil is powerfully magical. mugwort is an herb traditionally associated with the dream world, and deep roots. it pulls us deeper into our own consciousness, opening us to our intuition, offering clarity in our dreams. its work as a grounding plant is also said to strengthen the medicine and potency of other herbs it is used with. i think of mugwort's power like roots - pulling us deeper into ourselves and our knowing, and being a conduit for other medicine to do its own work.
i especially like to use it together with st. joan's wort oil for deep relaxation or muscle or nerve pain, or lavender oil before bed for restful sleep and deep dreaming. it is a potent herb for ancestral work, dream work, and nourishment during our bleeding time.

it smells richly savory and incensed. the oil shines a deep blood red in certain lighting, but is a bright dark green in hand. magical!
