comfrey herbal oil

comfrey oil is a potent skin healer. it is said to stitch skin back together, healing scrapes and abrasions, breaking up scar tissue, and regenerating cells. it can also ease sore muscles, strains, and is wonderful for bruises. because of it's powerful healing constituents, it should not be used on deep cuts or puncture wounds, which may cause the surface skin cells to heal before the bottom layer of the wound.

this oil is an amazing tool for the herbal first aid kit or as an ingredient in salves or balms. it should not be used as a daily massage oil.

a well made comfrey oil should be very dark green, almost black. this dark black green oil also catches the light and looks dark blood red in the sun. it's magical! the oil has a warm, chocolatey smell.
