these sessions are for anyone who wants to unpack their birth experience with the support and insight of an experienced birth keeper. you will have space to share your unique and powerful story, your questions, your insights, and your beliefs. these sessions are meant to be held in the framework of understanding normal, undisturbed birth and helping to provide insight on what happened and why.
we will work together to untangle any parts of your story that feel stuck or confusing through the lens of physiology and the routine practices of the medical model, if applicable. we also explore tools for integrating your experience, healing trauma, and finding support as you move foward.
these birth story debriefs are also intended as a container for birth workers who need a little extra support navigating a particularly tough experience as a birth witness.
this consult is 50 minutes and occurs over zoom online video conference.
